Mark Mickelson, a United Church of God pastor who serves in the U.S. Northwest and in Nigeria, produced this Bible Topical Index (BibleTopicalIndex_spreads) and offers it without charge to those who are interested.

The Bible Topical Index was started in 2002 as part of a Bible seminar presentation to young adults in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Mickeson intended it as a basic listing of scriptures under various subjects that could be used to answer Bible questions.

“One of the very gratifying aspects of developing it was the degree to which various members were willing to contribute their own time and energy,” Mr. Mickelson said. “Dozens of Bible study discussions were generated on top of a considerable focus in personal studies. The typing and layout and coordination with printing and shipping were all donated as well.”

The index currently contains more than 4,500 scriptures listed under more than 400 subject headings.
