It&#039;s so true, that is why we have a timer on the computer our son uses and we limit the television and what shows he can watch.

Hulu, YouTube, etc has almost totally supplanted television with my kids. They like not being tied to the TV channel&#039;s schedule. Plus they can watch videos of sleeping cats falling off window sills till they come out their ears! You can never do that on TV.

I think it is the parents that spend more time with the TV. Can;t afford to do anything else. I know my grandkids are on the computer 24 seven. Not at my house though.

Jim, I tend to think the Nielson study will soon be out of date as online video will take off and some people may even decide to stop paying the exorbitant cable bills!</description>
